Connect Columbus exists to coordinate volunteerism and identify and address the current and future human service needs of the Columbus area. The organization provides opportunities for citizens and agencies, public and private, to join efforts in coordinating and enhancing services to meet community needs. This organization will seek/solicit resources to implement its objectives.

The principal purposes for which this organization exists are to:

  1. Promote collaboration among agencies and organizations.
  2. Promote sharing of community resources.
  3. Organize task forces to address identified community human service needs.
  4. Provide an organized vehicle to obtain additional community resources and grants.
  5. Maintain a database of community services and distribute it for community use.
  6. Provide a listing of volunteer opportunities and promote volunteerism.
